Building compliance and safety: be the firm AI names
Last reviewed 14 October 2026
This hub is for UK firms that help building owners meet fire and water safety duties. Their buyer holds the building's compliance register: a facilities, M&E or estates manager, or the responsible person named in the Fire Safety Order.
Questions buyers have
Examples of the questions we build pages to answer (illustrations, not survey results):
- Who can carry out a fire risk assessment for our building?
- How much does a fire risk assessment cost?
- How often do we need a legionella risk assessment?
What we measured
In September 2026 we measured 844 UK fire risk assessment and fire safety firms. The median firm had no AI citations, and 495 of the 844 (59%) had none at all. Across 376 water-hygiene firms the median was also zero, and 202 had no citations.
